And the $2.50, $5.00. and $10.00 gold pieces of the early 1900’s. In fact, the $10 (eagle) was designed by the famous sculptor Augustus St. Gaudens. And although the designer of the $2.50 and $5.00 coins was less noted, they are the only incised coins issued by the US.
