McCain loves to side with the democrats, and hates republican philosophy. He would have set us back and we could not blame it on the democrats....No tea parties, no march on washington, no raising up of republ. and democrat grass roots......the only thing good he could have done after getting in the office would be to die and leave Palin at the helm...

I think it is a correct assumption that America would not have had the "awakening" that it has had if McCain were in office. Now, granted the rumblings started with the beginnings of the bailouts and TARP under Bush but it's very likely it would have fizzled out at that point. We'll really never know. There is a problem with somebody as "in the news" as Beck making a statement like this though, is it will be used as an endorsement of Obama.
