Unfortunately, most of our talk-radio friends do what is best for their ratings and advertising, and not what is best for the country, nor best for conservatives or Republicans.

The most significantpart of that ratings play is to make ad hominem attacks that detract from any serious discussion of the issues.

Those ad hominem attacks and the tone of talk-radio comes accross as mean-spirited. When most people, including many conservatives and Republicans, hear what seems to be mean-spirited, they close their ears ... and minds to the truth hidden and hard to find underneath the ad hominem.

I had been giving “W” credit for WoT and SC. But you’re take—that he screwed up the WoT—is accurate. Therefore, the only “conservative” things he did that have endured are his SC appointments—at least up to now. Frankly, I don’t the SC has really been tested in terms of its adherence to its Constitutional role and upholding the tenets of the document.

RE :”So which third party loser to you two vote for? Or did you vote for The ONE Himself?

Loser??? Isn't that McCain and the republican party? 2006+2008? The biggest loser is GWB because he spent the last two years endlessly trying to salvage a legacy, and in the end he left a huge deficit, a failed economy, two wars, , the destruction of capitalism and a democrat super-majority and liberal president.

But he kept us safe, right??? ...by electing all those anti-american dictatorships with Bush democracy. Who wouldnt want to continue that for four more years?

I agree. It could be that the SC is biased toward big government like the Crysler bond holders case .

But Alito and Roberts are still way better than ACLU Ginsburg,

>>>>>You are doing what you accuse others of here.

Wrong. Two different issues. McCain was nominated, chose Palin and lost the election. Even though Beck is not a Republican and has his own agenda, to say that McCain-Palin would have been worse for America than Obama-Biden is a ludicrous statement.

I don't support and I don't vote for liberals. Giuliani and Romney have long histories of support for liberal issues and liberal causes like big government, gun control, amnesty, gay rights, abortion etc etc etc. Not much difference with Obama as far as I can tell. On top of that, Romney is an unprincipled, two-faced phony and fraud.

Also, I just don't vote for ANYONE who doesn't have the humanity to defend the most defenseless in our society, the unborn. I don't support or vote for ANYONE who supports abortion on demand as a matter of personal choice or public policy.

Nothing odd about it. You were given bum information. Read it here: Why I'm reversing course on John McCain.

Ditto on Ginsburg. But she was hospitalized for anemia yesterday. She will provide an opportunity for The Marxist Onada to shove an even more radical justice down our throats.

Of course Palin would have been powerless as VP. He didn’t even like her he just made a smart political decision in picking her.

I'm not so sure. If McCain had been fortunate enough to beat Obama, he would have won because of Palin's huge appeal to conservatives and traditionalists. I seriously doubt a "President" McCain could have gotten away with shoving a "VP" Palin off to the side and out of sight. Come on! Conservatives and traditionalists would've gone on the warpath if that happened.

Frankly, if things had turned out differently, McCain just might have made Palin a very powerful and influential VP. Maybe not like Cheney, but critical factor to his overall success nonetheless.

No its not. But what Obama is doing to our defense and intel agencies will come back to haunt us - and McCain would never do that.

I voted for Chuck Baldwin of the Constitution Party.

I may not agree with McCain on some issues, but he is no socialist.

McCain is always looking for middle ground, a typical politician. He wants to give a little, take a little. He doesn't recognize he is up against a den of vipers who want to give nothing and take everything.

One thing for sure, he would be someone the military could count on.

Taht’s just a loony statement. Beck is one of the truest conservtives on teh air. He’s not a Republican, which is what bothers you, but that’s because the Republican Party under Bush adn McCain has walked away from conservatives and cnservative principles.

Republicans treat conservatives the way Democrats treat blacks. they think they own us, so they give us as little as possible then demand our votes.
