" Protect ACORN, have the suit filed in the name of the workers who they fired."
Easy fix - file a countersuit naming Acorn and you open the box.....red

You can make a decent argument that everytime the local news shows film, it violates this law, as Im sure there is someone in the camera range that didnt give permission to the local news team. How about filming a soccer game? Or, a football game?
I think the prosecutor may have to disallow the evidence in a criminal case against the Acorn nuts but I don't think the rule was meant to apply in general.

To: Russ Where do we sign up to donate to their defense funds? I have a feeling these young front-line detectives will not be lacking for good defense attorneys! Great minds and all that rot!

When is a criminal complaint going to be filed against ACORN?
To: battlecry
The two kids need to have the state pay for their legal defense. You know that there will be the absolute best at this craft wanting to take this case. Let ACORN spend millions trying to defend themselves and vilify those who caught them...what an absolute riot. I love it.

We will finally be able to get our eyes and hands on all of the incriminating documents. I imagine the worst stuff has been shredded already. It's not like those are document locked in the National Archives that they can't get to. (Wait, what?!)

In that same blog, back in Feb , 2009, a ACORN worker or member was arrested for breaking and entering.

“These tramps and scalawags fear discovery...”
ACORN might. The fired workers are the loose cannons.

They are pulling a stunt. The are having the workers file the suit. Discovery on ACORN would be outside the workers. Thats their new scam. Protect ACORN, have the suit filed in the name of the workers who they fired. See how nice that is? If I had tapes of workers in 5 Walmart stores encouraging me to commit crimes as part of their employment and those workers sued me I could not use discovery against Walmart?
Just asking, I don't know.
To: cripplecreek
It will be interesting to see Maryland skews the law to allow an illegal entity to sue anything. Certainly opens the way for the illegals to sue for healthcare, childcare, other entitlements and a free public education.
