Day in and day out, the liberal media and politicians has been denigrating the ordinary people that have attended these town hall meetings, that have been held throughout the month of August. Some have gone as far as calling them terrorists and said they were autroturfing. What has all of this stuff gotten the left wing haters? Not one damn thing. In fact, it has shown the American people what idiots these people really are.
Some Democrat Congress critters went so far as have stopped holding these meetings altogether. Some have actually had their meetings set up to be by invitation only. The reason for this is to keep the real people out i e the people that will be effected the most by the pending health care fiasco and the cap and tax boondoggle. Then there were the union and ACORN agitators that were bussed in to disrupt these meetings and have their allies in the mainstream media spread the falsehoods of the ordinary John Q Citizen of doing the deed, instead whom the blame rightfully should be laid upon.
Fortunately, a good share of the American people have not bought into what the left is trying to do and the left is not very happy about it. They expected, We the People, to lay over and play dead and accept the change that they wanted to happen. That did not happen and now they are scrambling to change the message so that they are creditable again. That is not going to happen anytime soon. As Abraham Lincoln said “You can fool all of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time”. Well, the majority of the people have not been fooled by the tomfoolery that has been going on this summer.
Our founding fathers are having a good laugh, at the expense of the phony baloney people that are supposed to be our leaders. It also shows what wise and far seeing people that they really were. Everyone of them, if they could see what is going on with the tyrants that want to thwart the will of the American people, they would be giving a hearty cheer. What we are experiencing right now, is a mini American Revolution, but without the violence and bloodshed associated with such a thing.
Hopefully, some of the Congress critters have seen the light and maybe, just maybe, will vote against these boondoggles. If they don't, there is always the ballot box. That has a very pacifying effect on them when it is their careers that are teetering on the brink of the abyss. The proof will be in the pudding, in the next few weeks, as to whether they listened to us or they were saying what we wanted to hear. If that is the case, we must fire all of them and start over.
