I know what you're saying. I was hoping for fireworks on Friday, too. But the truth is, Glenn Beck and these tapes have caused ACORN to lose their funding -- at least the mechanism to do so has passed the senate just yesterday -- ALL DUE TO BECK AND THESE TAPES! None of us ever dreamed ACORN could be marginalized so quickly! ACORN doesn't even know what hit them! They were in line to conduct the freakin' U.S. census just last week, and now they don't know if they'll have funding to pay the light bill in 2010. It's a big deal. We expect too much too fast. He was off by 5 days. I'm not going to complain.

I know. I told my husband on Thursday night, he’s putting himself on the line here, either he delivers or he’s a joke. He’s clearly not a joke, or ACORN would not be losing funding and they lost the census over it, but his timing remains in question. I think he’s operating on a fast-forward setting. We need to keep that in mind when listening to Beck’s predictions, that’s all. And he can’t control the mainstream media not picking it up AT ALL. Surely that was a bit of a shock.
