Why don’t the Dems start a not-for-profit insurance company with their tauted 4% overhead if its so easy?
Answer? It has never been about the private vs public overhead and insurance costs.
Its all about control and denying healthcare to those they disagree with.

This “public option” thing has me steamed on another level.
This new “company” will be able to bypass all state regulation, and sell anywhere and everywhere. Well, hell, why don’t we let Prudential do that? Aetna? The BCBS associations? Why don’t we set up one national standard of service, and so long as they are compliant, set ‘em loose?
Wouldn’t this be a lot cheaper than the current proposals? Of course at that point, states might realize that they just lost a bit more of their Constitutional power...
Exactly. They want to use health care to do to dissenters what the Ohio Democrats could not do to Joe the Plumber. Make no mistake - the same thugs that call us terrorists and Nazis; the same thugs that go after Sarah Palin and Joe the Plumber; the same thugs that show up at "town hall" meetings antagonizing the elderly and picking fights - they want to be in charge of our health care.
