The author couldnt bring herself to say that Mclaim was the hole in the GOP boat.. a BIG BIG hole.. and Palin was a coffee can scoop.. OR worse was oblivious of it..
McCain was a hole in the boat, yes. But what was leaking out? We were. Supporters of America. Supporters of a free market. Supporters of the Constitution. Supporters of Individual Liberty.
McCain wasn’t good enough for us and so we bailed (or gave minimal support) and then came back somewhat (but not totally) when he brought Palin on board but we were so sure we didn’t want anything to do with the McCain Leaky Boat (and yes, it was that) that we acquiesced and now who is in the white house.
