I made my point, “lad”.

But keeping talking. Your delirious rants just further the point.

Nice effort.

However,

Some folks don’t WANT to see the truth.

How much clearer could folks like Kissinger, Brezenski, Rockefeller, Soros, et al make it???

1993 - April 21: General Colin Powell receives the United Nations Association-USA’s Global Leadership Award, and he remarks: “The United Nations will spearhead our efforts to manage the new conflicts (that afflict our world)....Yes the principles of the United Nations Charter are worth our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor.”
.
Obviously some folks are

UTTERLY ARROGANTLY CONVINCED

that they KNOW MORE than say the following oligarchy members and stooges themselves. Must be quite lofty to be more arrogant than Kissinger! LOL.

1993 - July 18: CFR member and Trilateralist Henry Kissinger writes in The Los Angeles Times concerning NAFTA: “What Congress will have before it is not a conventional trade agreement but the architecture of a new international system....a first step toward a new world order.”

1970 - Between Two Ages: America’s Role in the Technetronic Era by Zbigniew Brzezinski is published. He is a CFR member who will become the first director of the Trilateral Commission and President Carter’s national security advisor. In this book he states: “Marxism represents a further vital and creative stage in the maturing of man’s universal vision. Marxism is simultaneously a victory of the external, active man over the inner, passive man and a victory of reason over belief.....Human beings become increasingly manipulable and malleable...

Obviously some folks consider their own noggins sooooooooooo lofty and elevated that they don’t

NEED TRUTH to function.

LOL.

I’m sure the oligarchy is greatly blessed by such stubborn, arrogant ignorance. Helps their cause a lot at this stage of things.

Mind boggling that there are still FREEPERS who are so blind to realities in such matters.

You are slightly delusional, while the other fellow is nuttier than fruitcake. Meanwhile I am a sober Reagan republican who has been here for 9 years and posted tens of thousands of times on everything under the sun. The fact that I know actual economics and like my own country divides me from doom mongering populists on streetcorners in washboards, but not from conservatism.

Welllll, that's somewhat encouraging.

Though it still seems more than a little odd to deride and dismiss globalism as nonexistent.

Has reality testing been such a challenge historically or is it a recent problem?

It's soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

galactically IMPRESSIVE

that lil ol you

are calling these traitorous jerks liars:

1928
A book entitled The Open Conspiracy: Blue Prints for a World Revolution by socialist H. G. Wells is published.
.
He declares that "..The political world of the Open Conspiracy must weaken, efface, incorporate and supersede existing governments....The Open Conspiracy is the natural inheritor of socialist and communist enthusiasms, it may be in control of Moscow before it is in control of New York...."
.
1931
Historian Arnold Toynbee delivers a speech to the Institute for the Study of International Affairs at Copenhagen in which he explains:
.
"We are at present working discreetly with all our might to wrest this mysterious force called sovereignty out of the clutches of the local nation states of the world. All the time we are denying with our lips what we are doing with our hands,
.
because to impugn the sovereignty of the local nation states of the world is still a heresy for which a statesman or publicist can perhaps not quite be burned at the stake but certainly be ostracized or discredited." --International Affairs (journal of the Royal Institute of International Affairs, i.e. the British version of the Council on Foreign Relations) Nov 1931, "The Trend of International Affairs Wince the War"

So, how often, on average, does God call you up to get your advice on how to run the universe? And what kind of consulting fee do you charge God? And how does He pay you?

And how many hours of arguing and how many piles of notorized proofs do your family members have to muster to get you to admit a microgram of ever being wrong?

Throughout my career as a psychologist, it’s always been a real kick to see something that the Lord pointed out to me early on . . . that I didn’t need a battery of tests . . . that I’m my own best Rorschach.

You prove it so screamingly yet again.

Thanks.

Okay. So finance is what orders the resources to more productive endeavors, and adds value to economic activity and causes economic growth.

Government programs like SS and Medicare take money out of the economy, where it either sits or becomes interest-free loans to the government for welfare programs, essentially taking money that would be going into the financial sector for investment and turning it to non-productive uses. And you submit that this is of no economic consequence.

no consequence.

The first link worked earlier in the day—brought the audio right up.

The second link is to the website in gneral. Tony Evans was billed as today’s broadcast at the website.

Not sure what to suggest. Joya may have a solution.

"To change that is easy, you means test and restrict everything above the means test limit"

How old are you Jason? I am in my mid 50's I've been paying into Social Security and Medicare all my life. the means test should be when you retire you get everything back that you paid in along with the employers payments too. A reasonable 3% interest per year should be a meager means of intreast. When you start taling means test you sound like some ahole from Democrat side of the isle.

This week’s series may be an indication that Fox is going to pull Glenn’s show after this week. Notice, both yesterday and today, he has started off with: “Is it hateful...?” The boycotting advertisers have accused Glenn of hateful speech. There may be a connection.

Middle class entitlements are economically inefficient, certainly. Not because they "take money out of the economy", the money recirculates through the economy as always, but because they direct real resources to overproviding some categories of services without regard to the price or efficiency with which those services are provided. It is not the money that matters in that, it is the real capital and the time and effort of people moved to that sector, from others. The efficiency cost in that in the short run is not large, a order of magnitude or two smaller than the amounts spent. Sustained over the long term, though, it shows up as galloping prices in the subsidized demand sectors and an increase in their share of GDP, which reduces net wealth approximately in proportion of that increase. Here that means something like 5% of our wealth wasted overpaying for health care inefficiently.

The other main effect of middle class entitlements is to reduce the savings rate. Men live on less private savings relying on government, and that lets them live a little higher, a year or two ahead of where they'd be without it, no more than that. At the cost of imported capital and service to pay for it, or slower capital accumulation, compared to what would be possible with a higher savings rate.

The programs were designed for that savings-suppressing effect at a time when many economists wrongly thought savings harmful for suppressing immediate demand, which was a dumb short term view. In reality it was prompted by an inaccurate theory about income from capital, which economists have long since corrected. The programs remain entrenched politically anyway.

And no, I never said any of it is without economic consequence. I said pretending the size of unfunded entitlements can "bankrupt" us is nonsense and one entry accounting, and it is. It is economic ignorance or preying on it; I heartily believe the former. I don't think Beck knows enough economics to find his backside in the dark.

You've been paying *taxes* to support other people. If you'd have saved it instead, you'd be much better off and I'd prefer such a system. But you didn't.

We should transition to private, fully funded pensions with the only role for government in the pension system being to provide a basic level of support for those who would otherwise be indigent in their old age. Obviously we should do this gradually to accomodate people's past reliance on the idiocy of the present system.

If you want other men to work to support you 20 years from now when you are no longer working, you have to think what you are going to give to them to make it worth their while, not demand things of me or anyone else now, in whining self righteousness. An honest approach would be to expect to pay them for supporting you by giving them ownership of real assets you accumulate in the meantime. A much less honest approach would be to demand they support you for nothing by claiming you deserve it, then give them a nudge and a wink and urge them to try the same demand on their kids.

One of those is the present system, and it isn't the honest version.

You and your contemporaries got the government you voted for and deserved. Including all its taxes. If you have nothing of your own to give to someone you demand wait on you in the future, if he flat says "no" and refuses, you haven't the slightest just claim against him. He didn't promise you anything and you haven't given him anything. If he wants to vote to give you half, he is free to do so. He doesn't work for you and you don't own him.
