Dem. Rep. Eric Massa Tries to Pass Himself Off as ObamaCare Opponent to Megyn Kelly - Video 8/19/09

Here is video of Fox News' Megyn Kelly interviewing New York Dem. Rep. Eric Massa about his comments over the weekend that he will vote however he pleases on the ObamaCare legislation, without regard to what his constituents believe.

Massa unbelievably tried to make out that he meant he would not vote FOR the bill even though many wanted him to do so. He cast himself as the opponent of ObamaCare, and even invoked the name of Ronald Reagan at the end! Massa has said he will vote against the current bill, but not because he opposes Government Health Care. He wants it to go even further - he wants a more radical bill!

Kelly initially called him on the fact that he actually wants a "single-payer" system - Total Government Health Care. But then she never followed up on it! She usually does a good job interviewing, but she totally blew this interview. She also never called him on his comments at the same meeting accusing Sen. Charles Grassley of an "act of treason" for his comments opposing ObamaCare.

The comments he was supposed to be explaining were to the radical Leftist Netroots Nation and he said . . . . (Watch Video)

Can the demo-nazis have voice vote only with no need to identify themselves. PLAUSIBLE DENIABILITY would be all they'd need.

Congressman Weiner says that health care is not a commodity. If health care is not a commodity then doctors and nurses are not free and sovereign citizens. If health care is a right then health care workers are slaves who must serve that right for the sick and injured. If health care is a basic human right, as Weiner says, then no health care worker can refuse to provide it, for any reason, because that would violate the patient's rights.

That means that the health care providers have no individual rights. The collective right of the people to get health care would supersede the provider's individual right to set their fees, their hours or change their occupational status or even decide how to apply their skills and knowledge. A collective right, by practical definition, is a state right because it supersedes the individual rights of others.

It may not be stated in any of the bills that patient's rights to care supersede a provider's right to set fees and hours etc, but it doesn't need to. Rights are always adjudicated in the courts. The legislation simply establishes the foundation for the courts to rule in favor of the patient's collective right to care.

Weiner’s view is collectivist, fascist and totalitarian. His view is the underlying philosophy of the entire Health Care Reform legislation the House and Senate have put forth. Consider the setting up of community watch dogs to monitor various health parameters of citizens in the Senate version of the bill. Look at pages 382 - 393.

TITLE I—QUALITY, AFFORDABLE HEALTH CARE FOR ALL AMERICANS

Even the citizens themselves will be subject to state set regulations on their behavior in order to fulfill the human right of universal health care. How much clearer can it be that these bills abrogate the concept of individual rights?

Hatred of Doctors is a hallmark of Communism. They even ginned up the “Doctor’s Plot” in the USSR. Of course they weren’t just any kind of doctors. They were JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOS

This guy struck me as an arrogant and pompous A$$. He clearly thinks that his constituents, and probably all other Americans, are stupid when compared with him.

Evidence that exactly the opposite is likely true was his observation that the voters in his district favored Obamacare. He knows this to be true because those attending his town hall gatherings favor the Democrat plan. Apparently, he is ignorant of the efforts of his staff, unions, ACORN, and the DNC to ensure that only supporters are allowed to attend.

He may be in for a shock next election day.

What I was getting at, if you agree with my premise, goes far beyond hating doctors. It is a full frontal assault on the very concept of individual rights. I only gave one small example, from a Senate version, of an application of that on all citizens not just health care workers.

We already have the BEST health care system. We have ACCESS when needed. What we need is to DEPORT the expensive Illegal Aliens and we could save Billions of Dollars in Health Care costs. Hospitals and doctors are having to absorb the free health care they give to Illegal Aliens and to make up the money, they HAVE to raise prices.

I’m sorry that lots of Illegal Aliens will die of kidney failure, heart failure, strokes, and other medical emergencies when they are Deported, but that is NOT our problem. They should storm their own politicians and demand better medical availability.

What other Country will allow a person to be brought to a hospital ER for emergency medical attention as needed and attend to the person first before asking about ability to pay? What other Country has life-flight for all emergencies if needed?

It is not our fault that we were intelligent enough to realize that Capitalism is the best way to live a full and productive life. Capitalism came about because of our circumstances . . . we didn’t have a king ordering our lives or telling us how to live our lives. We had to become Entrepreneurs in order to survive. Plimouth Colony proved that communism could not work in the USofA. They were about to starve to death until they abandoned that idea and found that Capitalism works best.

We are not liable for health care coverage for anyone, citizen or illegal alien or anyone from outer space. Where this idea comes from is certainly not capitalism. 100 years ago very few people had health insurance. You got sick, you tended to it and if it was really bad, you paid the doctor for his expertise.

I raised my two kids with Dr Robitussin and Dr Triaminic. The PROBLEM with most poor parents today is that they think they’re entitled to a medical doctor and a hospital for every little sniffle their child has.

GROW UP AMERICA.
Man Up, America.
