This outrage has nothing to do with Michael Vick's gambling.

Yes, Pete Rose should be in the Hall of Fame.

Disagree, he bet on his own team. Now you might say, "what's wrong with betting on your own to win?"

Sometimes it's better to lose a game, than to go all out to win it, like having your closer pitch two innings instead of one, which would leave him unavailable for the next game. It also serves as a signal to other bettors. Also, what happens on days when Rose didn't bet on his own team? That could have been interpreted as a "signal."

I know Megyn Kelly’s outrage has nothing to do about gambling.

I appreciate that you are consistent with your judgment regarding Rose and Vick - I have met some folks who see the issues as completely separate. (I disagree - I believe the gambling is intrinsic to “trusting” either.)

I remain unconvinced regarding Vick playing. But I don’t make that decision, anyway.

Have a great day, FRiend.
