After the toughest week yet for health reform, leading Democrats are warning that the party likely will have to accept major compromises to get a bill passed this year perhaps even dropping a proposal to create a government-run plan that is almost an article of faith among some liberals.

DO NOT let your guard down...I smell a RAT.
Good if true, but it’s probably either bunk or a head fake. By that I mean they cut the worst of it out and deliver something that’s still quite horrible.
In other words, keep pushing no matter what until it’s scrapped. We may get a good bill if we start over.
Another campaign event on fox oh sorry liberal love fest I don’t even know why he does th they’ve all been stage events loaded with accorn seiu what a joke this guy is looks like hes getting fustered now he’s lying about tax cuts geez when is some one going to call him on this stuff
In other words, the ‘RATS are planning on changing around some of the wording in order to pacify and fool the “unwashed masses” but the end product will be exactly the same as it is now. “Trust us.”
Ram Emanual had Hillary hidden in Africa for the past couple of weeks to keep her out of the debate. I can’t wait for her to get pulled back in so America can be reminded of the previous failed healthcare coup attempt.
Durbin, like the other commucrats, knows it doesn't have to be a "perfect bill" because all they really need to do is start the ball rolling. Once some version of "free health care" is in place, it will never, ever be gotten rid of. I don't care who's president. They know this. They know they'll have plenty of time down the road for covert amendments and midnight dealmaking to get all the extra socialist freebies they want.
Damn these people. The bowels of hell aren't hot enough to punish them.
Any bill that gets passed that has any relation to the health "reform" bills now in contention will end up being the whole thing.Once it becomes law it does not matter how innocuous it might be. It will be added to and enhanced by subsequent amendments to every other bill that is considered and will be added to and enhanced by agency regulations and it will be added to and enhanced by court rulings until in a fairly short time it is Single Payer Socialism fully grown. Not to mention that ANY bill will be changed drastically back toward the original in the House/Senate conference that must align the House and Senate bills. That new compromise will look a lot more like the original submission than like what got passed in the Senate and then only has to get 51 votes in the Senate.
THERE MUST BE NO BILL PASSED AT ALL!
Any bill passed will be a major defeat for the Republicans, for America, for Capitalism, for the economy, one we will not be able to return from. Socialism only proceeds in one direction. There is no return.
i would hate to see any of this passed, all it will be is a foot in the door for them.
