Someone sent this video to me as a means to saying Romney isn't a "real conservative." I'm curious to see if any of you agree with this analysis, and why. Please post your thoughts directly on the blog in response to this post.
I will add my comments in a later post...

I’m hoping that is the case. I expected more out of my fellow Freepers than these personal attacks. I work too hard for conservatism to have to “prove my conservative credentials” just to post a blog link, asking for comments, in the BLOG SECTION of a website I’ve been a member of and contributed to for months.

There are millions upon millions of conservatives who dont know about this site.*******************
Can you give me a round figure and a citation?

Posting comments to my own blog is idiotic. As I said, I’ve no problem with him sharing those links about Romney, and I hope that he does. I’ll quickly approve them for the public eye.

"A political party cannot be all things to all people.
It must represent certain fundamental beliefs
which must not be compromised to political expediency
or simply to swell its numbers." -- President Ronald Reagan
"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party
over to the traitors in the battle just ended.
We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged
to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support.
Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates
wouldnt make any sense at all.""

It less hating Romney than hating the games his supporters played here. They were (and still are) very disingenuous, arrogant and nasty. They generated a lot of ill will that translates to anything even remotely "Romneyish" posted here.
If you are opposed to Romney and his policies, and note I did not say “hate” him, you would find a welcome home here among those of us who still value honest conservatism.

Yeah, here's your citation: http://alexa.com/siteinfo/freerepublic.com
This website's reach is less than 0.03% of the entire internet population. Nuff said.

A person is perfectly capable of asking a question without simultaneously asserting an answer. I have NOT here supported Mitt Romney, and certainly not RomneyCare. To even SUGGEST that Myth MIGHT be a conservative is an affront to conservatism.

As I’ve said, repeatedly now, I openly and widely opposed any bailout and all versions of universal healthcare. A simple glance at my Digg profile, twitter page or either of my blogs should make that evident. I understand there is a tumultuous history here - but that’s no justification for excoriating a fellow conservative for asking a question to facilitate discussion on his blog and posting the link to that blog post in the BLOG SECTION of this website - a website of which he’s been a member and contributed to for months.

Romney's RomneyBOT stuck on Romney:
"Posting comments to my own blog is idiotic. As I said, Ive no problem with him sharing those links about Romney, and I hope that he does. Ill quickly approve them for the public eye.
Oh my, you will "approve them for the public eye"?
You must be VERY powerful, Newbie RomneyBOT.
Do you make Romney's bed? Dress him? Or serve him his drinks?
Romney: "Thank ME that my faithful, blind, stupid, RomneyBOT AKSurprise
who keeps working, and lying, and demeaning women and real Conservatives FOR ME
from a wet, dirty basement in Massachusetts ---for ME. Working to subvert honest Americans, and lurkers and FReepers
all to cover up my scurrilous, carpetbagging, record, my fake endorsements,
my fake troopers,
sporting fake badges, illegal security tactics, bizarre staffers,
hatred of the military, release of unrepentant murderers, receipt of AIG Contributions in 2008 ,
my imposition of gay marriage by usurping the Mass. Constitution,
my infliction of socialized medicine without a vote to impose European "healthcare" (except for me),
my abuse of Seamus violating Massachusetts's animal cruelty laws,
most say were uncalled for
for making me a presidential candidate of distinction in many ways leading to
TIME's 200 comments from readers complaining of animal cruelty
which did unfairly expose me,
like the Globe about my Belmont illegal alien sanctuary,
or so many about my team secretly criticizing and attacking Gov. Palin
and the other GOP candidates who otherwise might have won."

There is no justification, whatsoever, to suggest I am anything other than a conservative. Sod off.
To: Seth_Stuck
It is the case. Like I said, there was tremendous ill will built up by the antics of Romney supporters on FR, and they played many tricks including ones from recent joiners that would “ask for comment, I am not taking a position” then BOOM launch a whole line of attacks against Hunter, Thompson and other supporters here on FR while berating us for not supporting Romney and telling us how stupid and backward we all were.
You stepped in that, and it is not something that is going away soon, especially since it continues even today.
I recommend letting yourself be known in regard to Romney and go from there realizing that this is a Romney Adverse site with much knowledge of the man and his alleged “conservatism”...

For some who calls himself “Conservative Brawler”, you seem awfully sensitive. A fragile little flower of a “brawler”.

Yet you seem to think they know about your blog.
Not at all - I simply understand the truism that there are different conservative communities throughout the net (the thousands who read my blog included) who are unaware of each others' existence. As a PR practitioner, I well understand the value of bringing these conservative communities - where as you see fit to flame everyone who might have the audacity to post a blog link in the BLOG SECTION of a website he's been a member of and contributed to for months.

Again, understand your post fit a profile and while assumption is a bad thing, it happens. Many will not take nor have the time to scour your history to figure out your angle, and are less inclined to do so since your post fits a known pattern of the Romneybots...
Sometimes it is better to shoot first, ask questions later when one is in a battle.

I'm intolerant of blatant lies, flaming and stupidity. There's a difference.
