Yet again, some so-called journalists have decided to make up a story. There is no truth to the recent “story” (and story is the correct term for this type of fiction) that the Palins are divorcing. The Palins remain married, committed to each other and their family, and have not purchased land in Montana (last week it was reported to be Long Island).
Less than one week ago, Governor Palin asked the media to “quit making things up.” We appreciate that the more professional journalists decided to question this story before repeating it.

The release is in response to a ludicrous rumor being spread by Alaskan CNN stringer Dennis Zaki. Zaki, who previously bought into rumors of Trig Truth, picked up these allegations from the same source - the rabidly anti-Palin, Trig Truth-espousing anonymous blogger "Gryphen" of the blog "Immoral Minority". Gryphen is a friend of Zaki's, along with fellow Team Truth members Shannyn Moore, Phil Munger, and "AKMuckraker" of the Mudflats.
The rumor was already being picked up and spread around the echo chamber of the Alaskan Team Truther blogs...not only by Zaki, but by fellow Trig Truther "Doctor Phil" Munger of Progressive Alaska.
Sounds like the Palins are cutting these rumors off at the knees. Good for them.

The problem is that most people hear the headline and never get the rest of the story. They just remember the smear and never find out it was debunked. So many people I know don’t like Sarah Palin. But when I press them for a reason, they don’t really have one. It’s just a vague feeling based on sound-bytes they’ve heard.
We’ve got to do better about getting our message out there.

The only connection Palin would have to someone with a nasty case of herpes is when confronted by the ankle-bitters like Andree MacLeod, Linda Biegal and Shannyn Moore.

Just 30 mins. ago on the San Diego CBS news, they reported
Sarah Palin and her husband were getting a divorce and reported she was not wearing her ring.
I called and had to wait to reach a person to speak to.
I said this is not true, check you facts.
answer: This is the information we have.
I said If someone wrote Obama has 14 wives and green hair, are you reporting that at the top of the news.
I said I am embarrassed for you and your station to report
something you have no proof of.
You need to clear this up before you go off air.

Seems unlikely, but I don’t know them personally. I have no idea what kind of stress something like Sarah’s political career can put on a relationship. There aren’t many things that would completely shock me in the political world anymore.
There has got to be a way to send this information to the Palin’s attorney and let them go after this supposed news station.
I wonder if they have a video on their website where they make this baseless, slanderous claim.
good grief......I guess you aren’t old enough to have seen many married couples.....you can almost always tell the happy from the miserable.......you look at the KIDS! If they are happy, the parents are happy.
I intend to let the Palin people know what this station reported.

Conservatives4Palin have the name of her attorney (I’ve seen it mention on FR too) I’m sure they have his contact information or can at least point in the right direction.
I can’t see Sarah putting up with much more of this garbage; a few large lawsuits against a few prominent journalists and media outlets who continue to report these scandalous lies against the Palin’s, will do wonders.
That list is pretty creepy.
He makes stuff up, I make stuff up. Fair is fair. I can even doctor an image or two to make it read betterer.
