I screwed up something with the post... I think I put in wrong section (new to posting here). Here's (roughly) what got cut off:

For years Cascade was the BEST... now, P&G has RUINED it.

I am looking for a new brand that won't etch my glassware, actually cleans lipstick off of teacups, and WON'T PIT MY ALL-CLAD COOKWARE (I just saw one review online where the person was saying that the new product has chlorine bleach in it and has wrecked his metalware, All-Clad pots, and an heirloom butter dish).

I want to avoid that. I also don't want to have a econazi debate about phosphates. I want a product that saves me money at the store, saves me labor and energy of having to prewash, and cleans the dishes without ruining them. Rod

Make sure that you call P&G and tell them what you think of the new Cascade. Low phosphate detergents ruin your dishes and glasses, and even leaves a white crust on your stainless steel utensils. Forget about putting any silver in the dishwasher, or good glassware.

I think that the environazis would like to see us all eating off of plastic ware.
