This issue is what is called a “Red Herring”. As Obama, his attorneys, Patrick Leahy and all other senators, Justice Ginsberg and certainly all other justices understand is whether Obama is a natural born citizen. A birth certificate with Obama senior’s name would confirm that he is not natural born because his father was was not a US Citizen. Justice Ginsberg, in a case heard in 2001, Nguyen v. INS, was upset to discover that her grandson, born of American Citizens in Paris, is not a natural born citizen, for the same reasons McCain is not. It is a restrictive provision for the reason that president of the United States is the most important role a citizen can play in our government. The allegiances of a president, or any child, are most likely to be affected by the allegiances of his parents. Obama, if his father is the Kenyan of that name, does not come close. The father was here on a student visa. The rule, challenged at least 24 times, from Article II Section 1, a term of art confirmed and cited any many supreme court decisions, is that both parents must be citizens, and born on our soil. I suspect the observations about micofiche records, or digital scans of the microfiche in vaults are correct. We should all worry that no one of the many sworn to defend the constitution has asked for access to those records, though with the current attorney general and CIA chief, I am not surprised. Instead of chasing hidden documents, ask our leaders to honor their oath to defend the constitution. This is not the mystery it seems. Obama and his supporters do not respect the constitution. They have purposefully ignored his noncompliance with Article II, I think because, McCain's similar non-compliance was an opportunity, and McCain had well-deserved weakness with conservative voters. Many new-left academics believe being a natural born citizen is a relic, including Obama law firm associate Sarah Herlihy writing for Chicago-Kent Law Review in 2006 a brief about amending the natural born citizen requirement. You think they don't all know the law? These people want the government Obama, the “Don't doubt me!” community activist, with an extra bit of melanin from goodness knows where, was their Sham Wow guy. They won't challenge his eligibility. Republicans have known, because the issue arose in McCain's prior attempts to run for president, and in numerous congressional hearings while he was running; they didn't speak up because of McCains problems.

Now the luster is off, and we must demand that Obama’s eligibility be examined. There are many who will be injured if this question is not addressed. The Supreme Court does have jurisdiction to resolve a purely constitutional question; it does not need to wait for an appeal (from Marbuy v. Madison). Military officers are required by military law to affirm the validity of the source of an order. If Obama didn't lie about who his father was, he is ineligible. If he did lie, he is impeachable.

That was one more reason the left and leftist media picked McCain for us, to allow 0 to ride in under the same cover of birth.
