I watched part one, about to watch part two. I think he did a great job in part one. A lot of times he seems to do badly in interviews. He’s trying to fit so much in, and he’s used to having all that time behind the EIB mike to make his points. He tends to—no pun intended—rush in interviews. I think one reason this one works so well is he has plenty of time to work with. You can’t do a quick interview with El Rushbo. The man needs some time to get it all out. He’s not a soundbite kind of guy. He’s got lots of great nuggets, but they have to be allowed to breathe a little. Hard to believe I’ve been listening to his show for 17 years now.
I picked up on that too. Greta did not ask many questions. She gave Rush time to say what you wanted to say. I really appreciated that.
Hard to believe Ive been listening to his show for 17 years now.
I hope that Rush will be on another 17 years.
By the way, I have never heard anyone describe the inner workings of the Republican Party as well as Rush did in that interview. He talked about the blue-blood Easterners who are really moderate Democrats. These country club Republicans think they should run the show with their Democrat friends.
And there there are the working-class people outside of Washington, New York, and Boston, who are the conservatives. These conservatives are the people who should be running the party.
