I guess you know that there are already 49 “third parties” and several of them are wonderfully conservative and constitutional and perfect, except that they don’t do as well as liberal “third parties” and all the third parties combined scraped away a total of 1.4% of the national vote and not a single electoral vote.
Yes, that is partially true (though they are not wonderfully conservative, constitutional and perfect). But they fail because they desire to be seperate - they each have their own little pet cause to aspouse and at the end of the day their leadership is content to bask in what little admiration they get - it fulfills their egos and that is all they really exist for anyway.
A dynamic and honest leader with a sincere desire to change the course of our nation, supported by a fed-up populous, will result in a successful new party (perot proved this to some extent, but he pulled back). Whether it is a “third, fourth or 50th party” does not matter. What matters is that it comes in first on election day. And that is a goal that is achievable for a new party dedicated to the Constitution and that puts forth an effective nationwide marketing campaign but not by the current Republican power structure.
I stand by my statement: the Republican Party is dead and little lindsay is nailing the coffin lid shut for them.
