Opponents of President Obama's "Cap and Trade" Legislation have won a temporary victory today as the U.S. Senate Environment and Public Works Committee backed off on pushing the bill forward this summer. In fact, Chairwoman Barbara Boxer said it would not be taken up by the Senate until September. This about face by Boxer, who had set a deadline of early August to complete work on the bill, is undoubtedly a result of strong opposition from the American people, the announcement by Democrat Robert Byrd that he will oppose the bill, and falling poll numbers for President Obama . . . .

There have been a few new sunspots. Maybe by Sept the Earth will end its ten-year cooling trend and we can get back to demonstrable warming.
www.woodfortrees.org has access to the real global climate data. If you look at 2001 to now and take the trend, it’s been cooling off at about .12 deg per decade, a serious inconvenience to Warmers!
Hopefully Hussein’s poll numbers will be even worse by then. Congress is already thinking about 2010.
W Va Governor will appoint a pro cap and trade Senator?
I believe timing is everything, and the momentum has stalled for 0 and the rats. In my humble opinion, this will only expose the rats (and rinos) that votes for Cap and Tax in the upcoming elections.
Whoever voted for that bill needs to be targeted and defeated.
