Governor Palin first speaking event will be at The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library & Museum in Simi Valley, California. She has been invited to speak at the 50th Anniversary Gala of the Simi Valley Republican Women.
I could not think of a more appropriate place.
Guess that tells us all we need to know :)
took the kids to the Reagan Library last time we were in S. California.
They will always remember it.
Go Sarah!!
That is so cool. I hope Sarah gets inspired and Pres. Reagan is saying from heaven, “Win one for the Gipper, Sarah.”.
Very nice. I have been trolling around kos, huffington, salon etc today. They are very worried about her and there are plenty of hit pieces. Hmmm wonder why? I mean hey, she’s dumb and unqualified right? So why not move on, nothing to see here!
When will this be?
I too think its a very appropriate place. I hope she is just as determined and clear headed as Reagan was.
Michael Jackson’s public memorial had 20,000 attendees. Let’s see if Palin could draw a larger crowd.
AS Michael Reagan said re convention night:
Wednesday night I watched the Republican National Convention on television and there, before my very eyes, I saw my Dad reborn; only this time hes a she.
In one blockbuster of a speech, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin resurrected my Dads indomitable spirit
Good news!
Gov. Palin drew over 20,000 in upsate New York over a month ago
Was just there last week with my son.
Great place, beautiful part of the great state of California.
BTW having been to the Reagan Library twice, you can’t fit 20,000 there.
August 8th..my cousin lives 5 minutes from the Reagan library, she has taken her kids there many times, it’s a beautiful place. Simi Valley is an awesome place to visit, when I went there before the election to visit my cousins, you could see McCain/Palin signs as far as the eye can see, even a HUGE one from the 118 freeway. It costs 150 bucks to go to the event Sarah will be speaking at, unfortunately I am strapped for cash right now or else I would attend, but I think the fact that Sarah will be visiting the Reagan library says A LOT. She admires Reagan greatly, I think she feels a strong connection to him, both were considered to have “no chance” in politics, both worked their way up, so going to the Reagan Library for Sarah will be a huge honor

Great kickoff as she’ll prepare to support House and Senate candidates across the country.
>>Michael Jacksons public memorial had 20,000 attendees. Lets see if Palin could draw a larger crowd.<<
After getting royally screwed by the current administration, I wqouldn’t be surprised if the same 20,000 showed up and brought friends.
Not a problem, even in a diseased liberal enclave, provided the venue would support the 20k. And Sarah wouldn’t have to kill herself to draw that size crowd.
In addition, attendees at a Sarah Palin rally would be hands-down more intelligent, and less self-absorbed, than the Jackson cretins.
Like, likem LIKE it!
