Speculation abounds about who killed former NFL star Steve McNair, but nary a word has been said about whether Islam had any role in McNair's murder. As has been reported, the bloodied bodies of Steve McNair and Sahel Kazemi were discovered yesterday in a Nashville apartment. Who was Sahel Kazemi? All we know right now is that she was of Iranian descent and was carrying on an affair with McNair.

McNair was a Sunni?
When I read the girlfriend’s name, that was the first thought that came to mind. However I was thinking it was someone from the girl’s family who would have done it, rather than she herself.
A lot of people from that region are here precisely because they aren’t Muslims. Without a shred of proof this is reckless speculation that makes the legitimate distrust of Islam look bad.
McNair was banging the wrong bimbo. This one wound up putting four rounds in him and one through her own head. Nothing more. Nothing less.
I was at a relative’s house and was forced to sit through a dog sh*t Harrison Ford moving that was insanely lib. He has goten more lib as he has gotten old.

The family is angry and her brother kills the adulterer and the sister.
I saw McNair’s story and saw the girl was Iranian. Very close to the movie.
Let this be a cautionary tale for the rest of us. A married guy with kids banging some 20 year old: there’s no way it’s going to end well.
Regardless, an evil White guy somewhere is guilty of the deaths of these wonderfully diverse individuals. What a loss to the world.<>
That point is explicitly noted in the blog post. If you read the blog post, you will also see that Kazemi’s mother was herself killed in Iran 11 years ago.
It is my understanding that the metro police are not looking for anyone. I would conclude from that.....she is dead from one shot, he is dead from multiple shots. He is dead on the couch, she is dead on the floor. Powder links her hand to the weapon. No evidence of an outside influence.

LOL! This McNair story was a lot like the movie. I wonder where her family was. She could have been shot and the gun was put in her hand.
What was with her getting arrested for drunken driving and McNair was sent home in a cab. I wonder if he was trying to break it off and had her set up to get caught for DD. Pro and ex-Pro ball players know lots of fawning cops who want to be their buddies.
Maybe he set her up to get busted to make it easier to dump her. She figured it out and blammo. Sad.
Methinks there was a little alcohol-influenced homicide/suicide martyr. OK..maybe not martyr but can we blame the ayotollah instead?
Very true! From what I read her ex buyfriend said he was telling her that someday they would be together. My first thought was either that he didn’t want to see her anymore and she flipped or that she told him she was pregnant and it didn’t go the way she thought it would and flipped?
I was thinking that this must somehow be Bush’s fault.
That was probably the catalyst. To speculate beyond it is conjecture but my guess is he found a young woman capable of murder when he said its over.
