How about her statement that frivolous accusations had cost Alaskan tax payers $2 million dollars and consumed most of her time and her staffs time? That she considered it unfair to Alaska to waste their time and money? Are her straightforward words too much to believe?
There was content there, I agree. It was just muddied by the "protecting Trig" rhetoric. It's one or the other. The message was mixed, and it will be repeated as a mixed message over and over and over again.

Why is it one or the other? She has a duty to her family as well as the state of Alaska and the attacks on her were compromising both. Explain to me why it cannot be a compilation of all factors.
