Well, I wouldn’t necessarily say he’s “oppressing” liberty there, but he sure passed on an opportunity to promote it.
I wistfully remember President Reagan, and how he would’ve clearly and unequivocally expressed support for the freedom movement.
So is he then suppressing the liberty movement in Iran? I’d say so.
