I have recently been bringing this debate over Obama's U.S. citizenship over at Talking Points Memo. Needles to say, I have received some heat for my efforts. But I have received an interesting response. One that I have been unable to get around. I hope I can find some answers here.

Well, it does make sense to me. I mean, to keep young U.S. girls from being sexually exploited. But to date, I have seen/heard nothing by talk, which is interesting, but not very useful.
In terms of your first point about getting this issue into court. If the facts are correct, the truth will come out. All we need is proper standing and that can always be arranged, if we have a strong case. Build your case first, the court will follow.

That is why I said “doubt”. However, if you’re referring to the laws surrounding the conferring of citizenship by parents, then there have been several legal opinions given right here (in the LONG thread from last year) which state that Obama’s mother was too young to automatically confer citizenship IF he was born overseas (which now seems likely). Then, of course, there’s the other thread that his father was a citizen of the British Empire and automatically conferred British/Kenyan citizenship which Obama would have had to renounce at the age of 18, which there is no record of him doing. Then, of course, there’s the question of being adopted by an Indonesian and taking up Indonesian citizenship which, again, he would have had to renounce at the age of 18 and which, if he travelled on an Indonesian passport after that, he quite obviously did not do.
All in all, a dog’s breakfast and, on the balance of probabilities, he is NOT entitled to be where he is for multiple reasons.

Distrust of the court system. judges bought and paid for, activist judges (perhaps following dictates handed down to them), or something else seemingly not kosher are issues within the many requests for documentation and refusal of the court system to acknowledge or satisfy petitioner and/or citizen requests (fast becoming demands by ever-increasing numbers of people) for correct legal documentation to prove natural born citizenship.
If we cannot trust our court system to administer Constitutional law (or for judges to outright and consistently refuse to hear and justly rule on relevant cases presented to it), that issue must be addressed pronto.
If there is another attack on America, Leon Paneta said that Dick Cheney would seem to be pleased because of the way B. HUSSEIN Obama is running/ruining the country.
