As unemployment rates rise and the discussion turns to limiting salaries in the private sector it seems only appropriate once again to mention the obvious, and the bloated salaries of the bureaucrat. The Sacramento Bee of all places has done a nice job highlighting this gross injustice and these salaries do not reflect the even higher based UC pay schedules. It is important to note that most of Obama’s discussion on Salary Capping has focused on those who truly achieve, the Corporate CEO who drives thousands of jobs, the Banker who is entrusted with millions, and now the Healthcare Provider i.e., Surgeon , ICU Nurse who have the power to save a life. Not once has he mentioned his buds, the Bureaucrat or the Leftist Professor who offers no value unless the whole system becomes a gulag. Beware of the paper pusher, the clerk otherwise known as Radar O’Riely they hold the real power and need to be watched and held on a tight lease. Black and white facts are lost on most Californians and Americans these days. They simply choose to remain ignorant and recognize the unmitigated arrogance of these Bureaucrats/Technocrats as they upturn the country, our liberties and our future in the name of change.

Pension benefits of the Prison Guards was enough to bankrupt the state themselves.

I don’t see anything wrong with paying those retirement fund investment officers, who invest billions in pension money, $500K a year. That is probably on the low end of the scale for those who do that work in the private sector.

You would probably have to pay more to get really good ones, and that might not be a bad idea.

"Tax, tax, tax. Spend, spend, spend. For the people are too stupid to understand"

FDR

The sheeple have come to believe (through their apathy and ignorance)that the government is the master and they are the servant.

Although I can't stand that SOB and what he did to the country. However he did have a point. The sheeple (coupled with a dumb down public fool system) are just too stupid to understand, plus they don't want to.

When the total collapse of this country occurs (I predict around 2012) all of the sheeple who did NOTHING but bitch and complain will deserve everything coming to them.

I've been attempting to inform as many people as I can for over 25 years as to what is to come. 95% of the people I've spoken to just laughed at me, called me a nut or just came right out and said they just don't give a sh*t. We'll see what they give (or what's taken) and what they'll have to say when the storm troopers start busting down doors and ransacking homes looking for whatever king Obamarx deems illegal.

We'll see what these unpatriotic, apathetic as*holes will have to say when every dime they earn goes to taxes to pay for a health care system that'll completely bankrupt this nation.

We'll see what these morons will have to say when (in the name of national security) they're forced to get a RFID chip implanted in their bodies.

When the complete collapse comes these same idiots will utter those famous words "some body should of done something."

As the song goes '...as we live our lives in chains, never knowing we have the key...'

“Black and white facts are lost on most Californians and Americans these days. They simply choose to remain ignorant and recognize the unmitigated arrogance of these Bureaucrats/Technocrats as they upturn the country, our liberties and our future in the name of change.”

Exactly.

It’s just another election cycle for most Americans. They are either ignorant, or in total denial of the fact that the hard-left is in power.

Maybe it’s because 0bama doesn’t LOOK like a hard-left power monger. If he was white and his name was obamanov, or something they’d be more apt to accept the truth.

Even Rush Limbaugh, “head of the Republican Party”, says that “...it won’t happen in this country.”

Ha! Unbelievable!

This is after the nationalization, attacking private citizens, firing a CEO, refusing to let banks by their way out of the deathgrip of 0bama, etc.

But, don’t you worry your little heads, it can’t happen here, folks.

The constitution will save us.

How is it that big mouth conservatives are so much more confident in the “omnipotence” of this country than the Founder’s were?

“A Republic, if you can keep it.” Benjamin Franklin

Don’t you think it’s dangerous to face the hard-left with the notion that the US is too big to fail, or too rooted in the constitution to fail?

Freedom and America are much more delicate than the right understands, unfortunately.

They must be vigorously, and jealously defended.

We should have reverance for these CONCEPTS and realize they are made of IMPERMANENT stuff that needs constant tending to. AND that they have to be re-taught to every generation, or they will be FORGOTTEN. Freedom will be replaced by the promise of “free stuff”. A lie that, despite how many it has killed, still holds a Siren-like power over mankind.

We’re in big trouble. But you wouldn’t know it by turning on the television, radio, or computer.

The denial, silence, and utter passivity while in the close-quarter company of the enemy of freedom is astounding.
