Modern committees of correspondence. We should all be involved locally and either join or set up new ones.

At first, they will be infiltrated and watched...but once we exceed a hundred thousand of them all over the country, we will move beyond their ability to do that.

And besides...many of the uniformed services and LEOs are loyal, and dedicated Americans like we are...and we will probably win some converts in the process.

To Jeff and all who have responded: I'm not ignoring you. I've been heads-down on some serious infrastructure issues and this is the first chance I've had to come up for air. To be quite honest, I didn't expect the response I've gotten. I've said as much before. But it seems that the time is right. So there's nothing else for me to do but stand up. Look, I'm nobody special - I'm just a guy with a modest grasp of history and human nature, struggling for comprehension. And what I'm doing is what anyone might do if they saw their neighbors house on fire.

There are some things that need to be said in a clear and public manner. They need to be said before saying them will get one jailed or killed.

So thank you for all you kind words and encouragement. I'm working on a slightly extended and simpler version of post #15. Something more suitable for a verbal delivery. That's going to be the speech that I hope I'm allowed to give at the 4th of July Tea Party here in CDA. I'll publish that on a separate thread for comments and criticism.

One thing: I stand by what I've said. Those of you waiting around for your Creator to do that task which belongs to you - securing your life, liberty and that of your country - are kidding yourselves. More to the point, it's a worldview that's neither ethical nor survivable. It's not too much of a stretch to say that God will not save that upon which so many of us have turned our backs that which makes us free to prosper and to do the will of our Creator according to our conscience. There's a price to be paid for that. If you believe in the notion of sin, then that would be it - and it's a monstrous sin against your Creator, Man, nature, justice and reason. For all the reasons that I'm sure that you can work out for yourselves. Passivity is a crime. Pacifism is treason. Check your premises. Mine are correct.
