Wow, Kevmo, I think we’re getting somewhere. Even though your last response was, sadly, incorrect, which gives you a current score of, sadly, 0 for 10, I definitely detect some hesitation on your part on the whole subject of people’s rights to differing opinions, rights that are independent of their willingness to go on to some online gambling site and make some bet that will be governed by some unpredictable standard.
I’m sure that you, like most of us here in FR, believe that “man made Global Warming” is a crock of shite but I’m also sure, like the rest of us, you would never bet against the ability of the Global Warming activists to get “peer reviewed” papers “proving” that Global Warming is man-made. Am I right?
And who knows what’s in the minds of the judges of “intrade” regarding what is or isn’t a “peer-reviewed” paper. Right? Certainly you wouldn’t trust your money to them on the subject of Global Warming. And you would be absolutely correct if you felt that way (which I suspect you do) and you would not think that just because you don’t want to “bet against” Global Warming that doesn’t mean you aren’t allowed to hold the opinion (correct in my view) that Global Warming is a crock of shite.
So I do think you’re getting somewhere here.
I do think you’re starting to see that reticence in online gambling does not negate the value of held opinions.
I believe in you, Kevmo. I believe that you are fundamentally a rational person.
