Gov. Palin gave the following speech before “a crowd of more than 300 at an appreciation luncheon for the individuals, businesses and organizations that brought the 30-year Point Thomson project to fruition.”

Again, I would like to point out that the drilling in Point Thomson is another example of Gov. Palin fulfilling a promise. These are her words from her first State of the State Address in January 2007:

This woman is the real deal.

She says what she means, and means what she says. A politician I trust to honor her oath of office, and that's all I can ask for, from an honest to goodness native born American.

Yesterday I posted on FR that Ace of Spades blog had a poll up asking the question:

Who do you support for the Republican presidential nominee for 2012?

Final results:

Sarah Palin 50% 625 votes

Mitt Romney 18% 222

Bobby Jindal 9% 112

Mark Sanford: 7% 87

Newy Gingrich: 7% 85

Tim Pawlenty: 6% 69

Eric Cantor: 3% 40

Mike Huckabee: <1: 11

final votes cast: 1251

NB: among conservatives I believe there is a growing realization that Sarah Palin is a VIABLE candidate in 2012 if she runs and that there is a decent chance that a RINO may not get the nomination next time.
