What’s most ironic is that this same game was played on our mutual friend Steve King. He was one of the few conservatives who had the wherewithal to overcome it. Of course, things have grown far worse since then. And why not, when people like yourself refuse to see that the same anti-conservative campaign is being run against large numbers of decent candidates who stand on the political spectrum where Steve stands. The ultimate irony is that it is people like you who are, though you will never admit it, helping to cut off Steve off from receiving any substantial reinforcements.
