We had a lady come to our door waayyyy out here in the boonies.
I dont get non appt. visitors other than the UPS man so I was taken back by her.
I automatically asked her if she worked for ACORN.
She looked puzzled and asked what ACORN was...I responded a group known to work for Obama.
Oh no she says I am official, United States census dept and so I asked to get a closer look at her ID.
Yep US Census with her name too.
I apologized for being so tart and she said no worry she already had our address in he lil hand held electronic deal and we would be getting mail to fill out the census.
She also remarked about what a job it was to find every house in the rain forrest up here.
I decided to work the census this time. It is a temp job, for $11.50hr/ $.55 mile.I also work the polls.
In WV, I see no ACORN. It is housewives, and others wanting a quick buck. I doubt they are involved in anywhere but urban.

The GPS/handheldcomputer equipment is crap, and will not be used in the general census. I know from personal experience. They will use paper, again!!!
They will not allow us to even show the information on the HHC to anybody not in the USCensus program. PRIVACY? They are using Windoze Mobile...!
