Thanks for the info. Was just trying to catch up on the thread.
Perhaps Obama just wants our GPS addys, so he can have Chicago pizza delivered to every home in America. You know he is such a cool dude and all.
They were saying on Daily KOS that Obama is working with Santa Claus to make sure all of our presents arrive on time from now on.
The mark of the “beast” will need to be on YOU. Remember, you can always sell a home or leave it. You can’t leave yourself. Also, you can cut your hand off, it will on the forehead. You MUST refuse it. If your a Christian you will not, and I mean NOT, have to face that choice. YOu will be raptured before then. God Help those left behind. May many folk come to Christ now!! CO
Everyone should keep a digital camera handy, and a fingerprint pad, make whoever comes to your door submit to a couple of photos and then take thier prints. Just tell them they are on your property, and you need to know who they are and be able to ID them.
I believe that I would have had to kick his lying ass.
Ignorance KILLS!! CO
I don’t know what GPS marking means. How do they do it?
I’m wondering about that myself.
Addresses work just as well, with stuff like Tom-Tom, which cross referance GPS coordinates to addresses, although they can be off a bit. In fact I just went to maps.live.com, centered on my house and it gave me an address about 1/2 block off. Alternately I put in my address and it highlighted a spot about 8 houses off. It's never done that before. Street level Google maps off about the same amount. Strange.
People die from some kind of flu every damn year. IMHO, this is a scare tactic.
Why? Nefarious perhaps, but only unconstitutional because it doesn't seem to fit into one the delegated powers of the FedGuv. Power to take the Census only authorizes an "enumeration", that is a count, not collecting detailed information, like how many loos (or guns) you've got.
However they do need to know about where those people they count live, although addresses would work as well as GPS coordinates, so that Congressional districts can be reapportioned so as to get (about) the same number of people in each district.
Yeah, I feel the same way. Spooky. 666 comes to mind.
The federal government (for better or worse) doles out money to local governments. Much of this money is population based.
In the 2000 census the census people inadvertently recorded several of the dormitories at the University of Vermont as being in South Burlington instead of Burlington. This was millions of dollars in aid that would be moved from one city to another. Burlington squawked about it right away and it was corrected. I think this is what they are trying to avoid.
Is that “precise and exact” enough for you?
I hate to be the one to do it, but this is “much ado about nothing.” By now, every city in the US has aerial photos of every property with geodetic coordinates on the corners of each frame.
All O has to do is get copies of the photos.
They were here last week and when my husband went out to ask them what they were doing they handed him a paper about next year’s census.
That’s what I am saying basically. All of the personal questions and GPS stuff seems unconstitutional.
Are we bound by law to answer all of the questions? What are our rights?
Only the next time it will say “Christian”.
What difference does it make? We’re all broke now anyway.
Only if Selective Availability is turn ON. I don't believe it is now. I know that it was turned off in 2000 in part because so many military units, down to squads, were using commerical hand held GPS units. In fact a picture taken from a British helicopter of the Iranians grabbing one of their ships, had a GPS unit in the photo identical to mine, documenting the position of the ship at the time. (It was in international waters, but close to Iranian waters)
This actually has nothing to do with Obama. This plan had been announced in 2006.
