FOIA request on the purposes and all policy documents might work - though if this is like any other census, the data itself is confidential for 72 years.
No one is asking for the GPS coordinates. The volunteers are just taking them.
The Voter Vault, DataMart and County voter registration lists already has how registered voters vote. Trust me, they (the nannies) are already merging all of this data.

The Census is under the White House now. I don’t think the Executive Branch would be exempt from any equipment.

I stand by my original posting that the paranoid conspiracy detailed in the lead article is fantasy BS. The GPSing is happening. Obama is a sneaky little bitch but this is not one of his nefarious little plans ... yet.

Census enumerators are given lists of addresses to make the headcount. Previous census lists of addresses are only good for what existed in 2000. What happened since then? You can check a local Department of Buildings and Houses, but would you really trust their tally?
This happens to be the best time for using GPS technology because solar activity and sunspots haven't been this low in a century. What other technology would you want to verify a current address or the demise of an old address?
Reapportionment didn't happen until after the vote in 2000. Remember how the reapportionment in Texas dragged on for years.
Treated pig heart valves are used routinely when humans need to have their heart valves replaced. They don't require immunosuppression, IIRC.
That the genes from swine, avian and human strains finally recombined into the current influenza AH1N1 strain shouldn't be a surprise after looking at the current crowded conditions found in modern agribusiness. It's not like they have no contact with humans, and many bird species are free.
