It’s beyond the pale. There are no words.
FYI this wasnt a failure with the Pres. admin. Or is your problem with pic taking?
This was in response to a post I made saying that this plan clearly must have been hatched by a holdout from the Bush administration, because Obama and his people can do no wrong. I wrote back and told her thanks for illustrating my point.
The arrogance and poor judgment are stunning...
I was in the lounge at DFW when I saw this on the TV monitors — my heart jumped out of my chest!
And then they ran the subtitle “this was OKd by the FAA and known by the NYPD”
My reaction was WTH!!!!! Clearly these people never heard of 9/11 and are perhaps the stupidest people in the world.
Then I realized they are part of the new TOTUS-reading fuhrers administration and knew I was right.
Find out the names of all civilians aboard AF1 today.
Have your bird-brained facebook pal watch the video of terrified New Yorkers running for cover and screaming, “Oh, God!” and see if the Obama-line still holds.
Can you even IMAGINE what the mainstream media would be doing with this if it had been George W. Bush who callously terrorized New Yorkers for the sake of a carbon-spewing photo op?
To defend this is a pat example of naked ideology.

TITLE 18 > PART I > CHAPTER 113B > § 2331

§ 2331. Definitions
How Current is This?
As used in this chapter
(1) the term international terrorism means activities that
(A) involve violent acts or acts dangerous to human life that are a violation of the criminal laws of the United States or of any State, or that would be a criminal violation if committed within the jurisdiction of the United States or of any State;
(B) appear to be intended
(i) to intimidate or coerce a civilian population;
(ii) to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or
(iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination, or kidnapping; and
(C) occur primarily outside the territorial jurisdiction of the United States, or transcend national boundaries in terms of the means by which they are accomplished, the persons they appear intended to intimidate or coerce, or the locale in which their perpetrators operate or seek asylum;
(2) the term national of the United States has the meaning given such term in section 101(a)(22) of the Immigration and Nationality Act;
(3) the term person means any individual or entity capable of holding a legal or beneficial interest in property;
(4) the term act of war means any act occurring in the course of
(A) declared war;
(B) armed conflict, whether or not war has been declared, between two or more nations; or
(C) armed conflict between military forces of any origin; and
(5) the term domestic terrorism means activities that
(A) involve acts dangerous to human life that are a violation of the criminal laws of the United States or of any State;
(B) appear to be intended
(i) to intimidate or coerce a civilian population;
(ii) to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or
(iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination, or kidnapping; and
(C) occur primarily within the territorial jurisdiction of the United States.
So the question remains, will any prosecutor stand up and make his/her voice heard and seata grand jury to deliberate over this alleged act of domestic terrorism? In the Hudson River flight path and part of the East River flight path, EVERY single jurisdiction has the ability and preponderance of evidence to sit a grand jury and indict the director of the White House military office, Louis Caldera, and a good amount of the staff both civilian and military operating under his authority during the preparation of this terrorist attack. Every single individual affected by this has civil class action suit standing against this administration. And let's not try to guess the number, but over 14 buildings were evacuated, including the large Goldman Sachs complex and the 55 story condo which is the tallest building in Jersey City, NJ. There are still thousands and thousands of people in that area still these several years later, under psychological counseling due the the fateful events on 9/11.

(On a personal note my heart just sunk today when it first crossed the newswire, out and out panic. Not again, not again, not again. Living in the NYC burbs I immediately started a run down list of every one I know who works in Manhattan and JC, I never want to have to do that again.)
But, far more, this is a case study in a PRE-9/11 mentality. Nobody at the Obama White House is thinking about a terror attack.
That's what is so terrifying about this administration. Who is truly looking out for us? Other than those who would but now have to watch their own backs?
and I bet most of the people he scared the hell out of voted for him in November.
We’ll never get to the bottom of “who okayed” what.
Not from these liars.
We’d just get the equivalent of Nancy Pelosi getting fully briefed by the White House and then demonizing the White House for the thing she never had a problem with in her briefings.
It doesn’t really matter. It was stupid, inexcusable, and immoral to fly that plane on that route after what happened the LAST time a plane just like it flew on that route.
And it was hypocritical as hell of a man who wants to impose a hard-core environmentalist agenda on the rest of us.
I think I made a mistake in the html, the videos are still up:

these people are only pretending to be clueless and incompetent — isn’t it obvious to everyone that this was done on purpose?
She'd been vacationing in New York City on 9/11, where she witnessed the second plane hit the tower and then the collapse of both towers. She still has nightmares about the event and this did not help any.
these people are only pretending to be clueless and incompetent isnt it obvious to everyone that this was done on purpose?

We have a president and an administration who pretend to be clueless and incompetent amazingly well.
Gibbs coudln’t emit one intelligible (much less intelligent) word about this when asked. Not saying they were not aware, just how naive, unprepared, and arrogant this administration is.
Remember the liberal outrage over this (and this was not even close to being on the same scale as what Obama's folks did today)?
During the 2002 elections the Republican congressional campaign committee sold copies of a photograph of George W. Bush aboard Air Force 1 as a way to raise money for GOP concressional candidates. Democrats called this political fundraising more "nothing short of grotesque."
The White House admits that President Bush gave the RNC permission to use all three photos as a pitch for campaign dough.
Bill Press of Tribune Media Services wrote: "... Bush's selling of that third photo, taken on September 11, sets a new, disgusting low in political fund-raising."
The White House photograph shows Bush aboard Air Force One, talking to Vice President Dick Cheney hours after the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.
In a letter accompanying the offer to sell the presidential photographs, Cheney wrote that Bush and congressional Republicans "have cut taxes, reformed education, rallied the nation to confront and fight terrorism both here and abroad and fulfilled our promise to bring compassionate conservatism to Washington."
Has there been a more blatant abuse of political fundraising?
“When President Obama learned of the episode on Monday afternoon, aides said, he, too, was furious”
Yeah, right.
The “president” has no idea what’s being done with “his” planes?
He just wanted yet another piece of symbolic photo op/crapaganda for his “Hope & Change Traveling Road Show”.
Gee...that would be kinda karmic, wouldn’t it?
I hope Obama doesn't forget to put that one on his list of Bush administration criminal charges.
