Let's just put this out there right now. If Liz Cheney wants to be president, she's got my vote. She is asked by Norah O'Donnell about the "torture" techniques and Cheney astutely denies the premise that it is torture at all. She points out that the very same techniques, including waterboarding, are done to our own military as training for being captured. Therefore, by definition, it cannot be torture. She also points out that the techniques were very effective in gaining vital intelligence, which prevented future attacks.
By the end, O'Donnell is unhinged, foaming at the mouth, and yelling at Cheney.

I thinks Liz handled it just right. It was obvious to anyone watching that O’Donnell was frustrated and angry and that Cheney was in command.
Toward the end of the “interview” O’Donnell slumped back in her chair in resignation. She came to life again when Liz Cheney explained that the CIA had to know “how far they could go” (legally). O’Donnell seized on the phrase “how far we could go” and tried to twist it into being mean spirited. Whereupon Liz calmly explained to the confused child what the purpose of an interrogation is.
She at least let Liz Cheney speak in full and coherent sentences without interrupting her every 30 seconds like Sissy Mathews.
That was a bracing exchange. Nora had an agenda, not a desire to get at the truth. Liz made her look like she hadn’t done her homework.
Has she been to Mexico lately or been OD-ing on Ribs? Just sayin :-)....

This is all about getting Cheney. notice, they are not going after the CIA interrogators, but the Lawyers who do not want to loose their law license. IMHO they are fishing for someone to flip to point fingers at Cheney.
They need an internal enemy to purge, just like the Soviet Union, or any other Commie state via show trials. Bamster needs it to to feed his Narcissistic Personality disorder and not knowing who he is by attacking someone who is quite obviously very comfortable in his own skin, i.e. Dick Cheney.
Someone should do a skit where an Obama look-alike is Luke and Cheney is Darth Vader and he speaks those words: "Barrack I am your Father", that would get their panties in a wad....
she has the same high intelligence as her parents... i have often said that i would love to witness the conversations between Dick and Lynn... but imagine the converations and discussions with their daughter thrown in... i love being around high-thinking people...

Exactly!!!! Yelling was all she could do besides making that angry face. Liz shone like the gem she is. norah’s was blinded by Liz’s intelligence not to mention her simple, girl next door beauty.

I have the utmost admiration for Dick. He is very, very smart. Lynn is very, very smart. And we are talking about 2 very smart folks. And it has nothing to do with her PhD.
Being smart, she kept her thoughts to herself for 8 very long years. (What a waste.) It must have just killed her. But that was her duty...
One thing you can absolutely count on, Liz Cheney will never be on MSNBC again. They can’t stand to be out witted by someone with brains.

O’Donnell appears as an emotional adolescent being corrected by an adult and hating it.
