Chan is right, Democracy is chaotic, as it is nothing more than mob rule where 51% can violate the rights of the other 49%.
That is why we have a republic, democratically elected, but NOT a full Democracy.

Unfortunately, a republic depends on the basic decency and integrity of those who are elected. Our elected officials have little or none of either quality, hence the problems of America today.

Good point, but I suspect Chan was freely interchanging the word democracy for republic the way most libs do. Perhaps he just needs to clarify though.
