With all the attacks on capitalism and the free market emanating from Washington these days, and with so much of corporate America gagged by the wads of free cash they've been given....it's up to EC to ask - Who do you fear more? Bill Gates or Barack Obama?

When I was in high school in the early seventies, I saw some of the real effects and motives from the so called “war on poverty”, and made the observation that a liberal was someone who stabs you in the back, cuts you off at the knees, and says “We’re doing this for your own good.”
As long as greedy capitalists are not breaking the law I not only don’t fear them, I welcome them. A greedy capitalist built my house, provided the lumber, the shingles, the wiring, and the garage I park my car in that was built by another greedy capitalist. I eat all kinds of healthy foods provided by greedy capitalist farmers and food suppliers. The list is endless.

The greedy capitalist has to offer you a good or service in exchange for your money. The politician offers you a choice, your money or jail.
What’s the difference?
His flip-on-a-dime turn today to criminalize the interrogation of our enemies is the first act of his that I considered downright frightening. Everything else thus far has been just plain, de rigeur, run of the mill, university-inspired liberalism. Today’s turn of events shows exactly why the only growth industry since his election has been guns and ammunition. Wow.
Why frightening? Because it demonstrates his lack of a soul and his beholdenness to the lunatic fringe left.
