A Fox reporter has the Pentagon guy clarify that this was a standing order if the captain’s life was in imminent danger; O was not in direct contact with the Navy at the time.
Pentagon guy: Captain had weapon aimed at him, which Navy saw as the captain being in imminent danger.
Gee, I guess I am not smart enough to understand this. According to BO, being tied up in a lifeboat with terrorists did not put the Captain’s life in immenient danger?
Ummm, I think when a person is in a little boat floating around in shark infested waters with a bunch of nut jobs with AK47’s aimed at his head, he has been in imminent danger from the get go. Obama needs to do the right thing for a change and place the credit for this where it belongs.
There is news recently that the Obamateam takes all the video and audio of him and cleans it up before it is posted to the Internet. I am suspicious about what is going to happen with the news of this rescue. There was a LIVE news converence with the Navy about the rescue. We NEED that video Live. I tried to record it, but it was at that moment that my DVR decided to reset itself. The FOX reporter had already established that there was a standing order to act should his life be in imminent danger, but that BO had not done anything like call the captain up and say jump...but the reporter went on from there and that is when mine went down...I think the navy probably gave some good info we can use if anyone has it
