Plants need a few basic ingredients to grow, and then magic happens. (Unless ‘Face is tending them.)
They need water, sunlight, and air, plus a few minor chemical ingredients that we call “soil”. (Soil is actually complicated, but let’s not get into anything messy.)
On Venus, that is, afloat on the carbon dioxide ocean of the “water-world” that is Venus, there will be sunlight aplenty, twice as much as on Earth.
There will be air. Venus has nitrogen and other air ingredients, including of course carbon dioxide. What it is short of is water, which is tied up with sulfur in atmospheric sulfuric acid. Nasty stuff.
If you want the water, it’s a tussle! (But there are “ways”.)
