I’m lurking in between chores I don’t feel like doing.

But I’m here. We had some wind and rain last night, and it’s a little cooler this morning, but the humidity is up, so that makes “work” feel really ugly.

It’s humid here, too. Yuck. I was going to lie down, but the rest of the epople took off again - having stopped at home long enough to produce a sink full of dirty dishes and a basket of dirty clothing - so now I’m cleaning.

In a few weeks, I’ll have some help again, but for now, I just do what I can.

Last forecast I saw said sun all weekend. That means the Folklife Festival is going to be PACKED! But we’re only going on Monday anyways.

I know I’m irrational at this stage in pregnancy, but I’m trying to make them feel guilty enough that they’ll do *one thing*. It could be cleaning up the dishes they use after I go to bed. It could be taking their shoes off in the house. Just *one thing*, as a Gesture.

It’s not working, so I’m furious all the time, as well as in considerable pain, but at least the house is getting clean ;-).

Just hanging out. Haven't played in several years actually. I need a day to get them into playing order (if the bag is still good), a few days to get the chanter reed going (if it's recoverable), then a few weeks to get the fingers going again.

There's a Persian band playing that LoM and I want to hear, and a "Japanese Traditions" stage that the youngest sionnsareen is interested in. Plus a Gaelic group we usually perform with (but not this year) is playing later Monday.
