The other day I went to a global warming presentation delivered by my friend, Mason Wilson (retired Professor Emeritus from the University of Rhode Island, College of Engineering). I was so impressed by the information he presented and by his organization of the material that I invited him to post it on my blog. He starts by explaining the difference between short range weather forecasting, based on real-time data – and longer range forecasting, based primarily on extrapolating historical data into the future. Next he points out the significance of the historical record of climate data on which there should be universal agreement. Lastly he points out some of the factors that may be more important than CO2 emissions in explaining some current conditions.

Global warming is most likely the most cited scientific problem in recent times as many thousands of people rally behind those saying Global Warming is due to mankind,
Acknowledging that global warming even exists much less caused by mankind is a step in the wrong direction right from the start. Including CO2 in the mix is the worst insanity next to low flush toilets, and the ozone hole.
Global climate change is a moment to moment event unworthy of the time and effort of scientists much less amateur environmentalists. It has been on course and uncontrollable by man for the life of this planet, and will continue barring inflence to the contrary by the Creator.
It is just so comforting to see those who would place themselves between the Creator and His Creation with ideas meant to supplant his perfection with their brand of man made stupidity and put it in the public forum for all to see and marvel at the arrogant chutzpa on display. Debate over. Case closed.
The keys to Gods Creation will hopefully never be in the hands of man, after all HE accepts full responsibility.
