I couldn't help but think of Atlas Shrugged a few minutes ago when I heard a reporter ask about the effect Obama's tax plan (i.e. reducing the deduction for charitable contributions) will have on charitable giving. I could virtually hear Jim Taggart say, "but rich people will still find a way to give. They will figure out how."

It was obvious that Obama didn't have a clue. When asked about the effect it will have on charities, he responded that it won't affect rich people at all since they have plenty to give.

IIRC, he doesn't give very much at all, and he's rich. Why should others be different?
