Let’s Blow the whistle on this Bill. Reid, under the direction of Obama, is trying to strong arm the Senate today with a PUSH for cloture TODAY on HR1388.

Please call your Senators today and voice your concerns. Please let them know we deserve to hear a debate on HR1388. We want this Bill fully aired and vetted in front of CSPAN cameras as opposed to behind closed doors in “CONFERENCE” somewhere in the bowels of the Capitol.

Ordered, That upon the conclusion of Morning Business on Monday, March 23, 2009, the Senate resume consideration of the motion to proceed to H.R. 1388, an act to reauthorize and reform the national service laws; provided, that the vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to H.R. 1388 occur at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, March 23, 2009; provided further, that if cloture is invoked, then the post cloture time count as if cloture had been invoked at 3:00 p.m.; further, that with respect to the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed, the mandatory quorum required under Rule XXII be waived.
