Red and blue ties sure beat those goofy, stick figure “kids” ties that they all were wearing about 12 years ago. I know ‘RATS love “the children” once they escape from the womb but that display of their hypocrisy was very moronic.

Time for some flamboyant Limbaugh ties.

My grandma always told me to wear a “serious, red tie.” It’s the classic conservative look—dark blue suit, business-like red tie. The blue tie thing is a more recent trend. Some guys, like Rove, seem to like orange. I don’t wear ties anymore, but when I did, I stuck with grandma’s advice and wore serious red ties.

Because white ones look too much like their shirts.

I saw a picture of obama wearing a black tie that had thin white diagonal lines on it. It was very similar to a tie that I’ve worn before to funerals. I’m guessing obama was dressing in anticipation of the death of the country. But then again, if he was, he’d probably dress in more festive colors.

Because Obama is CGI chroma-keyed over a real scene. A green tie would let the chroma-key leak, then we’d all know.

Without a prompter he cannot pass the Turing Test, donchano.

In President Obama's first 11 days on the job, he wore only red and blue ties

Colors are known to encourage a psychological response. For example: Green is healing, calming, and is a good color for waiting rooms in doctors offices.

Red is an emotional color. It inspires energy, war, power, lust; Politicians use it when they want to appeal to the observer in an emotional, "animalistic" way. As in "red hot" or "on fire."

Blue is a mental color. It compels thought, intellect, calmness, spirituality, etc. Politicians wear it when they want to appeal to the "higher self". As in "true blue."

I don't believe anything a politician does is by accident. They use every tool available to them.

Obama wears the color tie that his teleprompter tells him to.

Some of it's psychology, much of it is just style. Yellow was in for awhile. And, too, if you're on TV a lot some funny things can happen. Check this Weatherman's tie out. It's so cool I'd have done it deliberately.
