I saw a CNBC clip, where a Congressman -- obviously Dem -- remarked that $250,000 was more than he made. That is an incredible crock, when you consider the gold-plated healthcare, pension benefits, and fringes -- like an avenue to lobbying post-government -- that Congressmen enjoy. Unfortunately, he wasn't called on it, as his comment was inserted into some other issue.
They think an income of $250 Thousand dollars equals a profit of $250 Thousand dollars.
A small business, with an income of $250 Thousand dollars is lucky if they clear $40 Thousand for a whole years work.
