I guess since it was Obama saying the lies, it's OK.

Does anyone really think that dictators do what they promised? Nothing to be surprised about here.

Bama is little more than a mouth piece who sold himself off to the highest bidders. He also told McCain he would finance his campaign the federal way and basically flipped off McCain when it came time to accept federal financing.

Ummm... Bill Clinton did the same thing in 1992. Nothing new here.

But this is such an extraordinary situation with so very much to lose if we don’t act quickly etc etc etc - insert your own rationalization here - that it’s perfectly fine, in fact it’s required that he break any promises - or law for that matter (remember the tax cheat whom we simply had to approve as Secretary of the Treasury) - in order to save us all - these people have an excuse for everything.....

Didn't have to wait for his election or inauguration, he broke all sorts of promises in the campaign. Like when he said he would accept public financing and then backed out after his opponent was committed to it. Or how about his saying he would debate John McCain “anytime, anywhere” and then reneged on that one too.

There is absolutely nothing that is honest, real or genuine about this man. I thought we had jumped the shark when we elected Bill Clinton TWICE. Wrong. Obama makes Clinton look like a saint.

Like Bill Clinton, he has a knack for knowing when people will buy into his lies.

Promises are only saying what’s needed to be elected.

Today in WSJ:

Candidate Versus President Obama
The editorial “The Missing Obama Tax Cut” (Feb. 10) is right on.

Candidate Barack Obama proposed eliminating the capital gains tax on the sale of stocks by small businesses and start-ups. He seemed to understand that job creation involves risk-taking investments, that small businesses create most jobs, and that the tax code should not discourage such job creation.

President Obama’s Democratic colleagues in the House and Senate have spent weeks discussing how to get the economy moving again. Yet the Democratic leaders of Congress chose not to advance the elimination of capital gains tax for small businesses in their economic stimulus packages.

I tried to amend the Senate bill with candidate Obama’s proposal, but the Democratic leaders shut out almost all amendments from my Republican side. For those Democrats, a Republican association is the death knell for any proposal, even one from the Obama campaign.

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R., Iowa)

BO will continue to ‘get away’ with anything because of the deteriorating economy.

This five day rule is hype and Obama’s transparency on pork is a joke.

He signs it Tuesday, the conference report on the bill was posted Thursday. It was signed on Friday. As the writer reports what is the five days going to do.

Is he going to CHANGE (there is that word again) it if someone on the “fifth” day Pacific time says hey Obama there is a problem?

Also you can track the pork at recovery.gov. That way you can see if Reid gets his train set from Los Angeles to Nevada.
