As a DU expert, how did they explain the lack of pardons at the end?
I mean for a government so evil and corrupt, with illegal wars and trashing the constitution, etc etc, how do they explain no pardons for Libby, Rove, Cheney, Runsfeld etc etc etc?

You’ve done a great public service with this installment. It’s obvious to anyone that DUmmies are just perpetual babies looking for a handout, and if it isn’t coming, then Society Is To Blame. They have this odd idea that the right to the pursuit of happiness means there is a GUARANTEE of happiness, and Society’s job is to HAND it to them.

Jonah Goldberg had a column recently where he compared the election of a black left-wing President coupled with the end of the Bush era as the left-wing equivalent of the end of the Cold War—i.e. a victory that wound up leading to a massive unraveling of what held the team together (defense hawks, social conservatives, economic libertarians, going their separate ways).
Looks like it’s happening already. The gays, the socially-conservative blacks, the feminists, etc., won’t have as much to be unified about.
