Yeah, and just in case some of the younger generation think this observation is just sour grapes - when it was Reagan’s and Bush’s turn, the best adjective for the media was dour.
I would love for someone to ask Chris Matthews if he would be so excited about the “first black president” if it were a conservative Repulican. I think not. The whole tone would have been bitter and more racist than it was.
