Not in percentage terms. Here are a few earlier victory margins.
- Andrew Jackson [non incumbent] in 1828: 56%
- Franklin Roosevelt [non incumbent] in 1932: 57%
- Dwight Eisenhower [non incumbent] in 1952: 55%
- Warren Harding [non incumbent] in 1920: 60%
Fair enough. In numbers though.
All of this is besides the point. Half or more of the posts to me have been on this issue.
My point was it was a bigger margin than the past half dozen or so elections. The guy has a lot of people behind him right now and he’d have tons more if people started talking CW.
The whole point of my comments was stop withe the CW nonsense. It makes us look ridiculous.
