When you account for vote fraud I'd be willing to bet that Obama actually lost.
However, 53% of the vote is not "pretty big." Not only that, but how many of those Obama voters are having buyer's remorse (I know at least one - there are certainly more out there).
Most of the country that is hoping for big things from Obama is proof that you can, indeed, fool most of the people most of the time.
No way he lost even with vote fraud. It was not 6% pts big.
