He loves him.
The Dalai Lama admits, "I love George Bush." Beeqube and ROP reported:
The Dalai Lama, a lifelong champion of non-violence on Saturday candidly stated that terrorism cannot be tackled by applying the principle of ahimsa because the minds of terrorists are closed.
"It is difficult to deal with terrorism through non-violence," the Tibetan spiritual leader said delivering the Madhavrao Scindia Memorial Lecture here.
He also termed terrorism as the worst kind of violence which is not carried by a few mad people but by those who are very brilliant and educated.

Richard Geres gerbil just died.
Quote...and laugh of the day. Thank you for that. LOL
Double-LOL!!! I forgot about his little gerbil pal...
I have never taken the Dalai Lama as a source of wisdom or spiritual guidance. But when I consider how many kumbaya leftists (a) reverence the Dalai Lama, and (b) hate George Bush, I can’t help but think:
Hahahaha.
I hope this is for real
Soon we will see “Free Tibet!” bumperstickers plastered over with ones saying “Tibetans and Slavery - a Great Match!”.
You’re supposed to say that in the voice of the bully on “the simpsons”.
Haha.

In the finest example of Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr., we can learn to confront our enemies with ahimsa, unconditional love. -- Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-OH), speaking about Usama bin Laden.
"... "Terrorism cannot be tackled by applying the principle of ahimsa. They (terrorists) are very brilliant and educated...but a strong ill feeling is bred in them. Their minds are closed." -- The 14th Dalai Lama, spiritual leader of Buddhists.
“He’s a man of wisdom.’
I agree. You can’t meditate for hours a day and ponder the world’s problem without coming to that conclusion....no matter how much you wish to find a way to treat everyone with kindness.
Used to?
Well that makes TWO of us, Dalai!
You owe Satchmo a BIG apology for that. :-P
Sikh's are pretty fiesty, too -- I had a cab driver give me an earful once. A great guy, but they carry around those little decorative swords. I don't know anything about them, but I got the feeling I could trust that guy, even after he said, "we're ready to go to war if we have to."
